*raises hand* I bought airsoft because it looked cool. When I was a kid I had a plastic M-16 that used go 'bzzzz' 'bzzzz' when you pulled the trigger and I played with it until it fell apart. What I woudn't have done for something like a TM M4 'boys' back then. FFWD 25 years and I find myself with money and a little spare time. Thats what airsoft means to me - a hobby involving lots of plinking, tinkering and fun at the moment. I too want a Systema PTW Max. I have two M4's right now, one an upgraded TM S-System, and another a custom FMU built from parts by Nortus. While both have their charms, they have their drawbacks as well. After all is said and done, I'm still after what by all accounts appears to be the crown of airsoft M4 action - the Systema. I also look forward to slowly accumulating real steel components as I can afford them. Currently I have an ARMS #46SC, #40L and an Eotech 512. Still deciding how I want to handle illumination. Nonetheless, the research and shopping I've done for this hobby has occupied hours of my time and brought me into contact with interesting folk. Its been real fun. I figure next summer I'll take 'er out to some matches, put some scratchs on 'er to give it the battle hardened look, lol.
