Sniper Steve, get 2 pairs of USGI Jungle boots made by wellco, ive only had experience with the black nylon upper jungles, they only run about 75 USD (not the cheap $30 knockoffs). When it gets colder just wear thicker socks.
Ive used the CF Prospectors at work once and wasnt very impressed, the goretex lining (combined with thinsulate material) locks sweat inside the boot if you are doing anything active. Good for sitting around in the rain all day, bad if you actually have to move around in them.
