I consulted with Jake regarding what the put in the guns when he was starting this whole thing up. Unfortunately cost talked louder than I did for the first run of Maple SBRs, where we saw a less than stellar failure rate with less than stellar overall quality. Thankfully with the new Maple Armouries AEGs he learned and improved from our previous experiences. While I have yet to open one of these AEGs up, they seem to have changed to a new manufacturer, overall quality is higher, and he put in a lot of the parts and improvements I recommended. The new AEGs seem very promising for the price point.
