What brand of brake cleaner you used? I can't seem to find it at CT, the closest one I found is Simoniz Cleaner W/Brake Dust Repellent which I'm pretty sure isn't for cleaning brakes. Maybe the local garage might carry some?

Also, how long did you let the parts soak in it before you removed the paint?

I'll be doing this to my full metal KJW pistol.
There's stuff made by a company called GUNK - Green can w/ white cap
OR
by a company called CRC - Red and White w/ Red cap
