I'd say go with a G36C over the M4 because of two reasons. One is that the TM M4's tend to develop a painfully annoying thing called "Barrel Wobble", in which the barrel becomes loose and somewhat sways and wobbles while your shooting or moving the gun around. The second is that the G36C is moree versitile, in the sense that it is long enough to be used as a regular ranged rifle, but also has a folding stock so that it can be comfortably used as a CQB weapon. But thats just my opinion, the final decsion is really up to you.
