The NiMH I had that came with some guns lose charge fairly quick..One of them lost almost all of it's juice in one week. Of course I usually charge them up to be my backups if my lipos ever dies on the field. (I used NiMH once in a new gun that I don't have a lipo for and it died half way through a game, never had that with lipos)
If that battery doesn't even hold a charge then yea, you need a new battery. Hobby battery in Vancouver is such a ripoff...
