If you want firearm experience - go shoot a firearm. You want to simulate a firearm in order to get the feel of it - go shoot a firearm. Airsoft gas blow back action is similar but not the same. I would not want to supplement any kind of firearm related training with an airsoft gun. It's one or the other. It's different on so many levels...
