Most TM guns can run propane without issue. Glocks, 5-7s etc cannot.
The main problem here is TM usually uses ABS plastic, which is softer and more malleable. Tinted parts are usually polycarbonate, which is a horrible plastic to use because it is very hard but extremely brittle.
