RIFLES can be imported if they are between 366fps and some arbitrary upper limit (lets say 500fps). Handguns on the other hand are treated completely different. I would highly recommend NOT ordering a PISTOL outside of Canada. Go nuts on the rifles, I have ordered many, as long as they say on the website that its over 366 FPS and I ask them to include this documentation.
And yes..CBSA doesn't test guns, do you really think they just have propane cans with adapters and chronies and .2 gram bb's hanging around to test? Think about that for a bit. They might and probably do finger fuck the shit out of your new shinny and take some selfies, but they don't do any testing. RCMP might, but if your gun is at that stage its basically gone.
