I didn't consider the w hold due to the application. The twin nub design is great, but for sustained fire I would think it would wear out pretty quickly compared to a flat or r hop, less friction over a larger area should technically make the rubber wear less quickly than a traditional style with a hump, bump, w, v whatever gimmick. But yes the w rubber is sweet. I run it in my pistols with good results in most cases.
