I have a King Arms M4A1, and the silver plate that covers my hop up has been acting up. I suspect it is bent slightly out of shape, as it is very difficult to pull back when I pull back the charging handle. It rubs very hard, so much that the little spring that normally returns it to its closed position is not able to pull it back when I hit the bolt release.

This is the piece I am talking about:

I would simply remove it, but the dust cover does not function without it.
And Ideas how to bend it back to shape?
