Battery compartment is pretty meh. I run an 11.1v 1300mah nunchuk and sometimes it's a fight to get all 3 sticks in, you gotta wrap them around the barrel a bit.
The internals however are not really M4 style aside from having a V2 gearbox, the hopup chamber is different, all the switches and levers, the nozzle...
Mags are M4 standard
Stock is pretty much not replaceable without an adapter
Forward rails are recessed into the handguard, limiting space for attachments.
