Fill it till you can't hear gas flowing out of the bottle anymore
theres no risk of overfilling a mag unless the mag is very cold and the bottle of propane is very warm, the temps and pressures will put an overfill of cold propane in ur mag which will expand and possibly rupture when it heats up, I've had this happen

but generally, under normal conditions, there is no "maximum" time to fill a mag, it simply stops filling when it is full
