Well.. G&G, CA and G&P seem to have copied TM's M4/M16 line, so It's a Copy-This-Copy-That-World for airsoft. Heck: Look at KJW: They don't make one damn original gun and they seem to be doing fine.
And you do have to note that it's Japan. IIRC CA, G&P and G&G can't really market their guns in Japan because of the anti-metal rules so they still have their monopoly in their no. 1 country of choice.
I think TM just wants to make new guns that they haven't quite made before. Besides, no one's made a Mac 10... Technically...
I'm just drooling over the Hi-Capa 4.3.. Just the SHORT mag makes it look better than its bigger brother.
