I recently bought four brand new MAG brand 100 round midcaps for my SIG SG 552. Noticed in my first game with them that they started coming apart at the top as I filled them with bbs. I couldn't fill them all the way without the two halves of the mag splitting apart.

Is this a common issue with these mags?
I'm considering using epoxy or modeling cement to glue the halves together, but I'm worried about gunking up the feed channel or spring.
Any ideas?
