Yes paradox this is the trigger, I just remembered the correct term for it, sliding trigger. And that is what you have on your double stack 1911 (or 2011?)
Sliding trigger slides directly back, and is something almost exclusive to 1911s/2011s
This is why 1911s are known for such a smooth a light trigger, they are very easily tuned to your liking.
The STI airsoft, has a pivoting trigger. Works on a pivot, like you'd see on any other pistol ie ; beretta 92, Sig P226, CZ 75 etc...
On a pivot can be smooth too, generally harder to get light and crisp but not impossible.
For most guys, airsoft means going for looks to closely replicate a gun, and a pivoting trigger on a 1911 definatly kills looks. For myself, my airsoft 1911 will be to complement my training. So getting the trigger as close to the real thing is very important here.
