A 7.4v 15-20c 1000-1500mah lipo wont really hurt anything. 11.1 will wear out trigger contactsand if AOE, shimming and all that good stuff arent perfect it can and likely will lead to internal problems like stripped gears and pistons. A well.assembled gearbox, good piston and a fet will last a good long time, have great trigger response and high rof.
