I know its not a TM L96 but my CA M24 had an issue similar to that. It was the spring that locked the piston sear in place that was too weak. I just put a stronger spring on mine and voila problem went away.
Worth a look.

And dont buy a zero trigger. Buy this --> S-Trigger
