What RoF are you getting, are you sure the shimming is right? Do you have a multimeter?
I've seen a few lemons and I ALWAYS get RoF drops when I use them, but I did run one to 39 RPS at 340 FPS without it getting warm.

27 rps @ around 290fps. GBBR shimmed it. I've yet to pick up a multimeter
40rps and 340fps is what I'd like!
