I agree that condor doesn't compare to higher end real steel stuff.

My tas tiger rig fully loaded weighs next to nothing, my black condor vest just with pouches probably weighs more than my tas rig, but if condor is all you can afford at the moment and you need something, then it will fill the void till you can afford something nicer.

Chances are too, you're going to play for a while, and get to know what you like and don't like, and it's a great opportunity to try different things before you put money into something nicer like shellback or lbt... out of the gate lbt is super pricey, and you may not even like a full plate carrier after wearing it for a while. You'll lose less money changing your mind on a setup with condor than with lbt.
