Nope, PTWs do not pre-cock. They get better trigger response via better motors and a significantly better gear design.
As far as running pre-cock on your gun, as long as you don't store them cocked its fine. You will see a faster draining of batteries, as it takes more power to further compress an already compressed spring then once in-compressed. And with that you may need to run a lighter spring so that your mechbox has the power to finish the cycle.
