I sorta like the idea of those ranger bands. Where does one go about finding those? Are they retrofits of something found in a hardware store? A rubber hose perhaps? Not sure which exactly which product?
If you search in google with the term "vertical grip sleeve" you might see some commercial products. Basically wraps the buttons on the grip with buttons sandwiched in.
I think the sticky velcro idea is out as it will leave that sticky stuff. Same with electrical tape. I use that stuff around the house and this kinda tape definitely tends to leave the residue glue.
I'm looking into probably making my own solution. I want it to be removable and does not leave sticky residue. Probably gonna make my own elastic sleeve with those polyester/rubber elastic stretch "webbings". The stuff they use in clothing or wrist band.
