When I had an Ares gun using the microswitches, I made sure to stock at least 5 of them every season. They fry just after 5000 shots. If you still want to keep your Ares externals, I sugguest you just order an Ares M4e gearbox and replace your current one. Something like $100 shipped from Ares.
