It's been done before and should be quite straightforward.
You'll need an 10.5" CQBR outer barrel (as in the bottom pic). Some barrels are 10" so watch out of that if you're being picky with things...if you want to use the front A sight the bayonet lug will interfere with the suppressor on the shorter barrel. Some are also 11".
I cannot recall if ARES outer barrels are the same as other AEGs...I think so, but it's been a while.
