Personally I have the bravos from TA and they are beautiful.

Recently at a game I had a few guys say that it would probably wouldn't work well and so on and 4 hours later every single guy on my squad had there radio/comms system crap out while mine was running perfectly with the throat mic. Although the next day it did look like I had a hicky....
