Stock aeg's being reliable is a shot in the dark.
Some last 4 years some last 4 minutes.
Most Important thing is having a good gunsmith that knows what they're doing. Ive built a dozen fully upgraded guns that went strong for years. My own 249 didnt have a single mechbox failure in 5 years, still hasnt. The motor got so dirty it stopped working and I had some box mag troubles but never a mechbox failure.
Just put good parts in and rebuild it right. Having a good base helps but its not always critical for reliability.
