I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with my system. I'm running real Sordins (with a high impedance mic installed) with my Yaesu VX7R and I can hear messages, but I can't transmit any.

I thought the problem lied with the PTT since, when pressed, it doesn't light up the led on my radio. SRS tactical said it was due to a mod that wasn't done, so I sent back in. I got it back today and I'm still having the same problems.

Any idea on what the problem could be?

Here's my kit:
- Yaesu VX-7R
- MSA Sordin Supreme Pro 75305 with TP120 plug and high impedance mic
- Avenger Singlecom PTT with YAE1 plug

After some testing, it turns out the problem is still the PTT
