Well, airsoft isn't strictly just for skirmishes and games, they are great for target practice as well, which is what I use them for, and to get revenge on older brothers by way of nut shots or bald head shots.

After extensive searching, some M1911s are listed as having "heavy weight inserts" which could likely be removed, but even so, most average at around 700g to 850g, which is just about 1.5lbs... Not too bad

I really like the look of the classic 1911 frame, with the long beavertail and the rounded trigger gaurd but the TSD Sport 1911 and TSD 1911 are growing on me. One drawback is for some reason, the TSD Sport 1911 which comes with the case will not ship to Canada from AirsoftStation or Amazon, yet I can get the TSD 1911 without the case, which is pretty much the same gun as far as I can tell from AirSplat.

Only problem I see with the TSD 1911 now is after watching a video review, the demonstrator noted that while the safety is ON, the trigger is easy to pull, yet when the safety is OFF, in Firing mode, the trigger is very hard to pull.

Any comments regarding having it sent to one of the shops in Alberta (or even here in Sask) to have the spring for the trigger modified if I did pick it up? I had heard that it may be possible about 2 years ago when I joined AirsoftSociety forums and detailed my condition and desires for getting the right gun
