I haven't heard anything bad about it and I haven't had any WE 1911 come back for warranty work either. Not sure if that is all a good thing though.
I have a couple friends running WE 1911s and they truly love them. Although the mags only hold 14 rounds per mag, and the lower components are not completely compatible with TM 1911s.
