If it has the red blow back unit it is CO2 safe, you should get about 2 mags worth of shots before you have to replace the cylinder. If your only getting 6-7 shots out of the propane mag chances are its too cold out to run the gun or you are not fully filling the mag before hand. Or your blow back unit isn't properly lubed and you are wasting a ton of propane each shot.
