I've run 2 classic army m24's in the past couple of years and i've always been satisfied with them. They are capable of reaching up to 250 - 300 feet on a torso target on light upgrading and proper aiming.
The m24 will do you well. And even at 380FPS (Which I ran my first m24 at) will be more than sufficient. The PDI hop chamber with proper compression, and the tightbore barrel will bring you over the 400 FPS mark.
