My PRS stock mod!
I should note, this thing is perfect for a mac mod on the buffer tube, you can cut a lengthy slot on the bottom of the tube, and the stock comes off with one screw just like the UBR. But I didn't want to take the stock off every time I change batteries, and I don't trust that big open channel when it rains...

Anyway, took the stock apart and started with filing some channels in the sides

Cut the hole for wires coming from the receiver

Machined a slot for wires to come into the rear of the buffer tube, where my (FCC) mosfet will be. Also deburred it inside and out

Here's the tube and stock together. That circled bit I had to later extend to the buffer tube to get more play with the stock while re-assembling

Ran the wires through, notice the extra slack. To eventually disassemble, I need to pull the stock back from the receiver, and under the front tube cover.

Here you can see how the new wiring will cut about 7mm of travel from the cheek rest. Not a big deal since I'm not running a 1" scope riser. This thing adjusts up to a ridiculous height. For my spectre DR, I raise it about 3mm from the bottom lol
Also you can see the challenges to assemble it. I need to slip it under the front tube sleeve, and the cheek rest needs to be over the buffer tube, already positioned over the stock because the wires have to run over it's bottom channel. It's a very intricate procedure.

And the finished product! The rear plate still has full movement and the cheek rest loses 7mm of upward travel. This stock is big and surprisingly heavy. Gonna need a bipod to balance it out lol

The FCC mosfet and my new 1300mah stick batteries aren't in yet, so I'll post those up when they get here. But the battery actually goes in through the buffer tube cap. Takes the same time to change batteries as taking the stock off, but it's a bit more waterproof and I don't lose any buffer tube strength
