Google tells me that the hop-up unit is compatible with TM, so no worries, unless I am wrong. I own the rifle and everything I know is TM compatible, too.
The mags for G36 are available, but big and cumbersome vs M4 mags. They are less available than said M4 mags too. If you want, magpul makes a good PMAG for the g36, and they feed well with my JG G36c. The only problem is ordering mags from overseas, since they often feature fake cartridges in the mag.
