Hmm. My HK3P one is pretty solid there, although I believe the Beretta sights are removable/adjustable? Perhaps the tolerance on yours was just a bit off, causing it to move more than it should.
I'm not sure what you mean by the hop up, exactly. I have swapped an entire Marui assembly into my HK before, though, and that will fit with the exception of the guide rod.
