What type of battery are you using? Sometimes the power of the battery isn't enough to cycle the gun therefore the piston gets stuck on its way into the backward position before it can fly forward, thus propelling the bb out of the barrel. I had the same problem with my A&K Magpul Masada. I was using an 8.4v 1300 mAh battery. After switching to a 9.6v 1600mAh, the problem was solved. 6 months and 10,000 bb's later I have yet to experience a problem.
