I have the King Arms Vltor sight tower as well and it is pretty much rock solid unless your outer barrel has a bunch of play. It mounts with hex screws and not pins so you can adjust the cant of the block to exactly where you need it. As for mounting a red dot on it, acquiring the dot with it that far forward may not be the quickest but it is doable.
