Yeah, lasers can be mounted all over since it doesn't have to be along your sight line. However, unless the laser is fairly strong it's not going to have much range in daylight. And if it
is strong enough, you have to worry about eye damage to other players (and if you are allowed to use it at the venue.)
But how is a launcher going to interfere with the top rail?
