When i started I was using a Bushnell from basspro. ($40ish)(seen on the M4 in my sig pic) Ive gone through a few since then and as far as looks vs use I havent found anything better for the price then my clone 552 $50ish. I would rather look through the square of a 55x type RD the the circle of the bushnell or tasco types.

But then again airsoft is all about what feels better to you. My idea of the perfect RD could be way off base in your view.
