cleaning up the airsoft room I found a few parts laying around.
i'd played around before with a really basic system for using electrical devices (buzzers, lights, motors, actuators etc. to trigger other devices) using RJ-11 connectors and 4 strand wire, your basic phone system wiring. cheap and easy to source, dirt simple to use...plug in the cable.
red/black is one circuit, yellow/green is the other.
i'd actually like to develop this into a "standard" so people could make their own props and use them in a common system at games but I still haven't even finished the tornado artillery project yet, we'll see how it goes.
the mobile missile prop is light enough to be carried by one person and cable 50' -75' feet is fairly cheap so the launch mechanism can be used or hidden a distance from the "missile"
