Hey Pirate,

If you're looking for a metal body, don't waste your time with anything other than G&P or at the least King Arms. I've had every type of "TM style" metal body under the sun and G&P is BY FAR the best. All the other makes, including SRC and CYMA often develop a crack near the front where the receiver holds the rear sight block assembly in place or breaks at the rear stock tangs.

G&P receivers are made of a much better quality metal than the rest and their finish is the nicest too, not that slick looking black, but a grittier one like the real thing. Only issue with G&P is the upper receiver, although steel, looks silly cause it looks different from the receiver.

Going along with that, I highly recommend a G&P steel outer barrel too, you can't beat them and they will work with Kraken parts. Plus, they look really awesome.

Don't touch touch the G&P rear sight block assembly though, terrible quality where the faux gas tube connects to the block. I've bought 2 and both came broken. King arms is the way to go or Classic Army if you can get one.

The Sky's the limit man, and Krakens are a great learning platform cause they're a total copy of Tokyo Marui's. Sadly now though, they're made up of CYMA internals instead of TM. The old ones are supposedly TM parts on the inside.
