Sounds like you have a shitty seal with your piston head. Check it, lube it, see how well it seals; consider getting an upgraded one (Marui will fit), like a Dyna piston head (NineBall). If it looks like its not really sealing much and you want to test it, wrap some PTFE teflon (plumbing) tape around the o-ring (IIRC on the KJW its a hard rubber washer) on the piston head.
