Legal accountability. There's more to it, but it ultimately boils down to you being legally responsible for your actions after you hit the age of majority.
Some of us go airsofting to get away from the kids. We don't want to have to deal with them during our down time. I don't have kids of my own yet, but I can respect why they want to get away.
