F2000 Spring Change

Hi Folks,

Looking for some solid information on spring changes for the F2000. I haven't been able to track anything at all down on the web.

This gun is fantastic (BTW) - it is VERY accurate. It has an adjustable FPS screw exposed on the back if you remove the butt plate. It changes it by about 10% or so.

At it's hottest, this beauty is shooting at 340 fps with .25's. I don't use .20's, especially outside.

I would like to get a spring in there that would make it shoot right around 400fps for outdoor games, and allow me to decrease teh velocity to down around 340-350 fps for CQB.

I'm not experienced enough to know which spring to use, or how to change the spring in this one. I was able to figure out the M4 easily enough, so, with a nudge in the correct direction I don't see this being any more difficult. I was hoping that by releasing the spring tension screw all the way out that the spring would just pop out.
