Spawn and Styrak are on the right track. Paint the inside if you can, gets the best finish and you can save the trades easily.
When spraying, spray from side to side, start and stop spraying away from the receiverto avoid drips. And spray at an even pace to maintain an even coat. Less is more, you can always add if needed.
If you forget or ignore everything else just remember to be patient while painting.
