Hey guys, so this is a bit of a weird question, and I really hope I don't get chewed out for this one :P LOL
and if this is in the wrong section I'm sorry and mods, please move to the correct area.
My question is simple, I have a M16, is it possible to convert it to take "7.62" mags... in more detail, I pretty much wanna turn it into something like a SR-25, and by "is it possible" I mean, are there parts available to do this (like a 7.62 receiver)
This is mainly a theoretical question, but if it is possible, I wouldn't mind trying it....
any help would be greatly appreciated, and I did try the search and google but came up with pretty nothing
EDIT: Damn, just realized how dumb I am, the internals would be different, I believe the gearbox for a 7.62 is longer, correct me if im wrong... mods, you can delete this i guess, really sorry for wasting time and space
