Took me 6 hours to do my slide. 30 minutes of actuall work and the rest was letting it dry completely. Don't do it when the humidity is extremely high either.
Very light coats. The first coat I did didn't even cover the whole slide completely. And I started with the paint can 6 - 8 inches away.
