I've had most of mine break like that, I've gone through about 4 or 5 on different guns. I've gone through as many anti reversal latch springs as trigger springs LOL
Where the straight begins is a stress point since that's where the bend stopped.
As for solutions....well...just keep buying different brand springs till you find one that works lol
Lots of stock ones break easily, used to know more about the bad ones when it was more of an issue 2 years ago.
I've had excellent luck with systema anti reversal springs though, don't think I've broken one to date.
Systema sells a whole spring kit for cheap, never know when you may need those other springs too.
