I agree with THe_Silencer that plastic receivers are a bummer and that you should aim for a full metal receiver if you can. If you're already planning to do all these various upgrades, then you can afford a metal receiver. Change your plan to get one.

Having said that...

The **-16 G&G gearboxes are actually really nice and I have sunk some cash and parts into one that came in a plastic receiver and it is doing just fine. If you are dead set on the plastic gun, know that the G&G mechbox will likely long outlive the receiver (heck, mine even has radiused cylinder window corners).
