As far as I can find, G&P does not make a stock "C8 Carbine" they made a body and the trades on it are incorrect for a Canadian weapon

Canadian style magazines ... we don't have Canadian style magazines, we use the standard NATO magazines, unidentifiable from the ones that are used by American forces or anyone else who uses the M16 or it's variants.
If you mean those shitacular Thermold things......... they're the most horrid peice of shit I've ever been told to put in a weapon and are no longer in the system, though they tend to pop up from time to time for no reason other than to piss off a soldier who gets stuck with it. Colt Canada, and Diemaco when they were still Diemaco, likes to use them in their photos though
