I've heard pretty good things about TM AEPs. I'm thinking about buying the glock.
Anyone have thoughts/experience with these?

I can shoot further by blowing a BB out of a McDonald's straw than a TM AEP is able to shoot.
Gas is definitely the way to go. The extra cost of gas is COMPLETELY worth the blowback of gas. You get the sound, and you get the kick. And you're definitely going to get a huge grin on your face when you fire gas vs electric.
Anyways, not much else I can add to the original post that hasn't already been answered multiple different ways. Just realize, that when you're asking for an opinion on a forum, everyone will have their own opinion formed. It's up to you whether to place more weight on one reply over another.
But if it helps to solidify the decision anymore, the TM Hi-Capa is definitely the ubiquitous "Marui M4" and "Honda Civic" of the aftermarket upgrade world. You can upgrade (or source replacements for) EVERY SINGLE COMPONENT in it, except for two small components that you'll not very likely ever need to touch anyways.
Second to the Hi-Capa, the Colt M1911A1 Government and the MEU are the next most upgradeable. Previously mentioned concerns about gas consumption are now moot, as the Wilson Combat 10 round extended magazine replica has just been released.
Third to this, would be the Beretta M92 series, followed by the Glock 17, P226, and Desert Eagle trailing the pack, as far as being able to source available aftermarket components. I am referring only to Tokyo Marui - in my books, they are top tier for a number of reasons. Primarily, performance, durability, aftermarket support, and price point are all deciding factors.
